Dutch statisticians, who apparently have had some free time on their hands, have determined that Friday the 13th is actually safer than your average run-of-the-mill Friday.
The Dutch Centre for Insurance Statistics (CVS) has recently concluded that accidents and crime actually occurs less on this widely regarded “unlucky” day. “I find it hard to believe that it is because people are preventatively more careful or just stay home, but statistically speaking, driving is a little bit safer on Friday 13th,” a CVS statistician says.
This study did not report on the probability of being attacked while camping at Crystal Lake or what your chances are if confronted by a hockey mask wearing, machete wielding psychopath named Jason, whether it was Friday the 13th or not.
When statistics aren’t going to protect the physical well being of yourself or your loved ones, check out https://worthprotectionsecurity.com. Even if luck is on your side, I’d prefer a little something extra, just in case.
It would be nice to believe that nothing will happen to you, but the reality of it is that an ounce of protection could be worth more than a pound of cure. What is Worth Protection to you? Your belongings? Your family? Your personal well-being?
Yours in safety,
